Double Injection Plastic Mold
A 2K mold is a mold in which two plastic materials are injected on the same injection molding machine and molded in two times, but the product is only released once. Generally, this molding process is also called double injection molding, which is usually completed by a set of molds and requires a special two-color injection molding machine.
Double injection molding refers to the molding process in which two different materials are injected into the same set of molds, so that the injection molded parts are formed of two materials. Some of the two materials are of different colors, and some are of different hardness and softness, thereby improving the aesthetics and assembly performance of the product.
